ABOUT ME

I am married with 3 awesome kids. I play guitar for fun and enjoy running, cycling, swimming, and camping. I really enjoy my career, and I like to spend most of my time either with my family or helping other people become healthy without drugs or surgery. I grew up Lutheran as my father was a minister, but I am now a non-practicing Buddhist. I believe that ANYTHING is possible and that we create our own reality.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that everyone is on a journey. I think that each of us must find our own path to whatever it is that we are moving toward. I make it point to look at all of my experiences as a way to learn, progress, and improve.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am just beginning as an official participant in couch surfing, but I have always welcomed friends and family to surf my couch. We have an open door policy at our house. If there is someone in need, then we want to help them, especially with my wife's amazing organic vegan food. Come try some if you're in the neighborhood!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The birth of my 3 children. Definitely the most amazing experience of my life. Nothing can ever beat that! My wife is the most amazing person I know - 3 home water births, the third was unassisted (no midwife). I was blessed with the chance to be the person to handle them as they came into this world.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have an extensive knowledge of natural health. I have a very innate, vitalistic approach to healing and I love to share my knowledge (and my skills as a chiropractor to those who share their couch with me). I would really love to learn to speak Portuguese, and I feel that we are never done learning, so whatever you've got, I am happy to learn!
