"Aut viam inveniam, aut faciam" - Hannibal
Translation: I will either find a way, or make one. That pretty much sums up my approach to life. I'm also a firm believer of having faith in the universe; things happen the way they are supposed to, and not without reason.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm currently involved in the CS project primarily for the couch-surfing aspect on my part. I can't really host at the moment, but I'm more than willing to show people around Amman or try to arrange a stay for them in the city. I can also point to good places to visit while in Jordan. Amman and Jordan are really wonderful places, and I would like to help people make the most of their time here.
Hmm let's see. Conflict resolution theory, politics (international and domestic), LANGUAGES, anthropology, game theory, falafel, hummus, travelling, the middle east, the balkans, writing, all kinds of things.
Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Turtles can fly, El Orfanatario, Girl Interrupted, random other movies. I don't watch many movies, and the ones I do are really random.
Music: Justice, MGMT, Jukebox the Ghost, 1997, Paramore, MIA, Shakira, Something Corporate, Jack's Mannequin, Girl Talk, Beyonce, Cobra Starship, Daft Punk, I'll listen to anything.
Books: Three Cups of Tea, Stones into Schools, Fixing Failed States, Contemporary Conflict Resolution, Junky, The Awakening, Tale of Two Cities, Crime and Punishment, Persepolis, Queen Noor.
