Live the life you imagined...and learn italian
I have been described many ways so I am not really sure where to begin. While traveling through Argentina locals would always ask where I was from; I would tell them to guess and I would get a variety of responses from: German, French, Australian, Canadian, USA, Netherlands, and even Argentine! I am a cultural fanatic who loves to hear about the personal journey of life. Every single person has a fascinating story to tell. I have found that just because I don't like a certain country/food/job position now doesn't mean I won't like it later. The only certainty in life is change. Enjoy the ride as it will not go the way you predict, no matter how much planning you do.
I am an ENTJ for all you science geeks out there. That would probably best describe who I "am". I do not have too many things that I do for too long as I enjoy the change of life, refreshing of scenery, and the natural change of pace of life. One thing I do try to do frequently is to have intellectual conversations, try to live in the present, and regularly drink a coupa of yerba mate tea. If I get to meet you maybe we could share a cup?
Live the life you imagined. If you are not trying to make your life a little better each day (in the way you would like it to be) then you are wasting your time. It baffles me how some people think that life will naturally fall into place the way they would like it to be yet are not doing anything themselves to shape the clay they would like to see.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I stayed at a person's house in Cusco, Perú for about 2 weeks. One of the nicest people I have ever met, and slept fairly well. I have also surfed in Paris (great city) and Nantes with another fellow world traveler. I love french people! I also surfed at Nick's house in San Francisco. We had some fantastic conversations and a great afternoon exploring the city! And I can't forget meeting Alma in Atlanta for one of the coolest coffee/tea shops I have ever been to!
Traveling, Scuba diving, slack lining, Splunking, Bolitches, trying new things, learning languages, socializing, and gaining new understandings of people and culture. Drinking tea, good conversations, and letting life go by.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Watching a spotted eagle ray fly out of the ocean to catch a fish.
Watching clouds roll up from a valley up a mountain while looking down from the highest peaks of mountains in Cusco Perú.
Spulunking into bat caves in the Bahamas.
Watching the sunrise from a large rock sticking off of the side of the Flatirons in Boulder Colorado.
Free diving down 60 feet into the blue holes of the Bahamas.
Watching the inauguration of President Barak Obama in person in 2013.
Being help up by undercover border protection in Germany.
Getting robbed in Buenos Aires and trying to understand technical spanish to have a police report drawn up...
Meeting people for only a moment but keeping in touch with them long after...
Teach, Learn, Share
I can offer you the chance of improving your english or spanish. I am very passionate and enjoy speaking in Spanish. I am quite versed in energy efficiency and can identify inefficiencies in your own home. I am also a previous bicycle mechanic that can quite easily (with a few basic tools) tune up your bicycle. I could even teach you a few basic things to keep it in working order!
I would next like to learn French and German. All it takes is learning a few words here and there...
