ABOUT ME

Imagine a taoist guitar-playing dog from the countryside who drifts between islands on an old packing crate and is happy to talk with pretty much anyone. He enjoys almost everywhere that he stops at, tries his paw at anything that looks interesting, but eventually feels the need to move on, and accordingly packs a jar of pickled onions, some good books and paddles off into the moonlit sea... Well that's not me, but we have a few things in common :)

PHILOSOPHY

Im not getting old and retiring until I've got enough decent stories to annoy younger people with for the rest of my life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Martial arts films, classic rock (zep, floyd, GnR, ACDC), blues (hendrix, walter trout, Robert Johnson, Bonamssa), Classical, flamenco (jose merce), trip hop, dance, plus random crazy music, reggae dub and roots, folk, recently more hard house and even a little dubstep, from a safe distance. Books: Getting into classical lit - Tolstoy, Schenkievic, Cervantes (update: I read quite a few of these and have decided that Tolstoy/Dostoyevsky aren't all that) always been a tolkein fan plus sci fi and anything creative. My favourite books are actually the really cheap battered ones that you find in a charity shop but turn out to be really good.

Climbing a 6000m volcano at midnight while a thunderstorm was raging a hundred miles away in the jungle

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach guitar, mechanical engineering and spanish to a certain level. Thats about it!
