About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet locals and travelers alike. To learn who we are by experiencing the world, to have a true adventure, and to make new friends all over the world.

ABOUT ME

We are two crazy-in-love-with-traveling fools, recently returned to the USA from our first journey around the world. We just moved to Los Angeles after having spent the last 1+ years living in Arizona.

Ready for some adventure, we decided to pick up and do some traveling in November of 2011 as that has always been a dream of ours. We spent two years in 35+ countries.

Theresa writes, Dustin shoots the photos. It's a team effort! We love to meet interesting people, experience different cultures, see how other lives work and experience new things.

PHILOSOPHY

Do everything once. You never know; you might like it!

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As we've just returned Stateside, we currently live in a family home and don't have the ability to host. This will change at one point in the (near) future. We also do home exchanges and our families host foreign exchange students as well as WarmShowers cross-country bicyclists.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We started out by hosting several lovely couchsurfers in Austin, TX. It was a great experience to meet new and interesting people and we really enjoyed showing them around our fun town. Then experienced it from the other side, seeing the goodness of people who open their homes/hearts/lives to us while we travel.

Interests

SCUBA diving, snorkeling, SHARKS!, hiking, wildlife, paragliding, exploring, snow skiing, photography, design, games, art, movies, books, eating, cooking & baking, meeting new people, learning about the world and other cultures. We love food from all over the world and try everything (at least) once.
