I'm friendly, respectful, and fun. I like to get outside whenever possible, climbing, hiking, biking, etc.

I enjoy good beer, ok wine, playing guitar, singing, cooking, and learning/talking about things like cephalopods, history, space, walruses, and bryophytes.

Don't worry, be happy, try to help when you can, make the world better in some way, recognize those places in your life where you're still a bit screwed up and try to change.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm constantly searching for new good music that I've never heard. Some of my latest discoveries include: Foster the People, Frank Ocean, The Ditty Bops, M. Ward, Zero 7, Vance Gilbert, etc. I also of course like the staples of good music: Led Zep, Beatles, Mozart, Count Basie, Gershwin, etc. etc.
I love to read, Bradbury, Lewis, Dickens, the list could go on forever. I'm an NPR Junkie, that's where I get most of my news. I'm also a big fan of this american life and Radiolab.

I was a personal trainer/health educator for eight years. I was good at it. I don't get paid for it anymore, but I certainly have an extensive knowledge base about fitness, nutrition and healthy living that can be helpful for anyone trying to make healthy changes.
