About Me

Where do I even begin? I'm an eternal nomad. I like to live in places for anywhere between 3-6 months at a time and then I like to jump around the country a little bit until I find another great little town to live in.

I'm maybe a little too full of laughter sometimes. I find comedy in just about everything that I do and I have learned not to take this life so seriously. Although I am always seriously in thought.

Like anyone else in this life, I am just trying to figure out exactly what my passions are so I can focus on them.

I have bartended, been a meat-ball cook, slung shingles over my shoulder while on rooftops, been a college student/hermit, and have hitch-hiked a sizable portion of the country.

I love to be outdoors but I also appreciate quality quite time to read and play music. I am always ready for an adventure!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Always looking for a new place to check out and new friends to make. I have friends all over the country and I look forward to making more! I'm also looking to land on my feet in a city where I can walk to work and possibly re-enroll in college. I have too much free time on my hands and I should use that to my advantage. Plus, I am not one to avoid a great human encounter and possibly have an unexpected life changing interaction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Within a 6 month period I was able to spend considerable time living along the Atlantic Ocean just outside of Wilmington, NC and then also being able to live a few blocks from that Pacific Ocean in Fort Bragg, CA. In between those times I somehow managed to, with barely any money in my pockets, end up living in a condo with a respiratory therapist during the winter/spring in Rochester, NY. My life seems to accidentally fall into place and that always amazes me. I guess that's why my stress level is always at an all time low when the stuff hits the fan. I always know it will work out.

Teach, Learn, Share

To be calm and excited at the same time. I play a variation of classical guitar and I am always willing to play with/teach anyone who has the attention span to try. I skateboard too, and have for the last 15+ years. Everyone has fallen down and quit a sport at some point but for some reason I never did with skateboarding. I would love to go to a skatepark and show you how to cruise around and feel the freedom that comes with 4 wheels, a plank of wood, and some steel axles.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can, and usually will, talk with people for hours about anything and nothing at all. I make a pretty damn good cup of coffee, and I can cook some insanely delicious meat (and meat-less) meat balls. It's a strange thing I have acquired. I am also a bartender so I could be your evenings spritzer mixer. I love to cook too and am willing to make you a full 3 course meal.
