Get my travel blog up and running!
I work nights, so I'm a bit of a vampire. If you work the graveyard shift in healthcare, it's typically a 7-on-7-off schedule. So, you can take a lot of "mini vacations" (every other week!). And during my time off, I like to travel to new places, or hang out with friends and eat at places I haven't eaten yet.
After work, I'm usually tired and enjoy playing a computer game (Dota). I *should* be working on my travel blog, updating it with pics and stuff... but... I tend to procrastinate.
I love meeting people who share a passion for life. I enjoy learning new things, and if you're an expert at something, I'd love to hear all about it!
Love. To change the world, improve yourself, and the relationships with each individual you meet. A smile is all it takes for a stranger sometimes. And, possibly the hardest are the relationships with coworkers or family you don't get along with. If I can't bring peace to my daily life, how can I hope it for the world?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I usually stay in hotels while I'm traveling these days, but would love to meet up for a coffee/drink. Meeting a local (even if its in the U.S.!) completes my travel experience. If you've questions about recommendations about LA, or places I've traveled to, I'm happy to share!
I. My first CS experience was crashing at Laura's, in Japan (near Fukuoka) - it was 100% positive!
II. I've randomly met some CSers in Peru too, and got a couple I met in London to join =)
III. My 2nd official CS experience was meeting up with Jenelle in Calgary - also 100% positive!
You. Conversations where time is forgotten are the best!
Music, Movies, and Books
I love "all" movies, but I tend to gravitate toward animated films and dramas in the cinema. Romantic comedies are awesome, but usually watched at home. I love being introduced to new music all the time. I wish I had more time for books, and I have a mini library I need to get through...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being #10 to start the ascent to Wayna Picchu, Peru and being among the first that day to witness the beauty from its peak.
