My girlfriend, Raiane, and I are both very active people that love to travel and meet people. We love to try new things, explore different places and cultures. I try to take a vacation once a year, and up until not I've only been south of U.S.A. like Mexico, or Jamaica, and it is time for something new. Raiane was born as raised in Brazil until coming to Canada 5 years ago and hasn't really traveled since then. We enjoy our time wherever we go and try to make the best of it, because there is a lot to get away from in this cold city. Although I enjoy the outdoors in the winter for hockey or skiing she needs the hot sun back.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard about couch surfing through my cousin, which traveled pretty much everywhere in Europe, and she said it was the best idea if you are traveling/exploring on a budget. We plan on taking somewhat of a lengthy trip and want to make the best of it. Traveling and experience what the city has to offer, meet people, and not worry too much about the cost of doing fun things or eating is really what were going for. Paying for expensive hotels can get in the way of all of those things. Also we love the idea of people helping other people, we are all about giving back as well.

Interests

There really is no limit to our interests. In this case because we are traveling to Hawaii, it would have to be beaches, ocean, different culture, volcanoes, scenery.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music, were are pretty similar, we think there is a time and a place for all types of music. We can listen to anything, as long as it suits the time and place, and enjoy it. Although our music of choice a majority of the time would be Hip-Hop and House music.

Books ad Movies, Anything that keeps you on your seat, makes you think a lot or laugh. (action, thriller, drama, comedies)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

(Raiane) moved from one of the hottest countries in the world to one of the coldest countries in the world.

(Dylan) I would have to say bungee jumping is the most amazing thing I've done, and it's not amazing enoug.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Raiane and I are looking for a helpful host, in regards to information about the city or island of Hawaii. We don't want to be secluded to one area so we wont be hanging around too much. We have planned out most of the trip, so we might be fairly busy the majority of the time, but nothing really set in stone so we are open to suggestions and other opportunities. Although this is a getaway for ourselves, we are coming to meet people and we are more than happy to show our appreciation in every way possible. ( I do conciser myself to be a pretty good cook)
