Hey, I'm Dylan :D

A 21 y/o vis arts, music, boardsports and people enthusiast born and raised on the South coast of England. I've spent the last few years of my life on the other side travelling Australia and NZ, I did a bit of couchsurfing over there but thanks to one of many hotmail cock-ups I can't access my old account any more! I spent the first half of my life mostly hating school but finding solace in the arts; fine art, graphic communications and music were my outlets, but when I wasn't studying I was spending as much time as I could with friends, skateboarding and adventuring.

Not much has changed in recent years, I enjoy spending time with, and getting to know people, adventuring, seeing and doing new things etc. with those people. I'm still a keen boardsportsman and artist, and now I'm looking towards furthering these interests and going back to study them on my own terms.

I consider myself an empathetic, considerate individual, tidy, organised... most of the time. Most of all I just like to be busy and having fun, creating good times for the people in my company, and having an all round positive affect on others and the world around me :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting lovely people on my travels, sharing new experiences, knowledge and hilarious stories with these people. I think it's a much better way of going about the world than staying in hostels and hotels where you hear the same stories from nearly everyone you meet, then by the time you've packed your stuff up you may as well have never met them!

Music, Movies, and Books

My tastes in the arts of any sort change very frequently but at the moment...

Music: Sly & the family stone, Matt corby, Katchafire, D'angelo, Bonobo, A tribe called quest.

Movies: Cohen brothers, Tarantino, Wes anderson, Mean girls (not guilty), Dan harmon.

Books: Not a big reader but currently reading The Diving Bell and The Butterfly.

Moved to Aus, formed a band and played a festival alongside lots of local gigs.
