About Me

I am currently travelling around South America and am in Chile from February until about May.
I believe all of us have a unique journey to pass through both outside in the world and even more importantly, to go within ourselves. A journey of discovery. I believe as we discover self we begin to discover all simultaneously as we find that we are one in the same. I greatly appreciate the way which travelling allows me to grow in perspective and understanding. For me it is a highly efficient conscious-expanding way of living. Whilst living in the small town which I grew up in, I often felt restricted, I had this sense of constant curiosity. Travelling has been a method which has enriched my character profoundly. I thoroughly enjoy meeting people from all walks of life and seeing what sort of positive impact we can cause to the lives of one another. I see the earth as our home and that we are all connected by an underlying force which has been labelled in many different ways by many different peoples. But at the base of it all is the fact that plants/humans/animals we are all part of the energy of life. The choices we make have a direct influence on the world around us. I grew up in a diverse country and decided to make friends of different races, sexualities, social classes and religions. This taught me that there are no real barriers between us other than the ones in our minds. I strive to maintain an open mind, heart and a general respect towards all forms of life. I believe, that whatever be our beliefs, we should not attempt to force them onto other life. Love is not an invasive force but rather freely given and freely received. I believe in living life to its fullest expression, my goal is to daily give all I can and to receive with an open and grateful heart. The way in which I travel is quite literally like one of the people of the place I am visiting. I have respect for the ways of others, I know that I am here to learn and not to try to change others but to observe and be changed from within. I don't have a specific budget but i don't spend money unnecessarily. I like to have fun in all the best ways that money can't buy. I hitchhike as often as possible and have slept in all sorts of places such as the streets, temples, churches, beaches and the list goes on, if you are interested ask me and I'll tell you :) An important thing to mention is that i don't consume animals products and try to leave the least possible negative impact on the earth as possible. I have been travelling and quite literally living from my backpack for quite some time so I have with me knowledge and experiences on how to adapt, survive and also to be happy with whatever i have, i am constantly learning and wanting to learn more and to share what i have to offer. I am grateful to be a part of life and appreciative of all that comes along with it :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a brilliant way to meet people and to have the opportunity to share a part of their lives with them, to see their perspective and to exchange lives and cultures together. To meet all kinds of people that you might not have the chance of spending such time with otherwise. I'm on here to travel in a way that I prefer to the usual and to meet others who are like minded.

Music, Movies, and Books

There are just too many great authors, poets, writers and producers of all kinds for me to remember them and to write them all down would just be near impossible and I don't want to leave out some and write others haha, but basically I can enjoy and appreciate almost all genres of music from around the world and different generations..Books: I'll read most books I can get my hands on to do with history, love, adventure, phycology, fables, philosophy and mythology..just anything that is enjoyable to read or helps broaden the mind or both..I also enjoy watching good educational documentaries..I'm always up for a good movie ! :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Left my comfort zone :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I really enjoy getting to know people, their beliefs, life stories, experiences, their culture, traditions and all the different ways of living. The history of places, people and things fascinates me and I enjoy learning and sharing as much as possible in these ways from the people that I share time with. Don't be shy to ask me anything that might be on your heart be it personal or just a general question :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can share in each others company..the simple joys and pleasures of life :) I can share my heart..my time..my experiences..we can talk about anything and laugh or even cry together. If we are open hearted and willing to learn I believe we can gain something from every encounter. I believe in inter-change and contributing what i can to help in any way that i can and i always try to leave a place better than when I arrived and I hope that is always the case :)
