ABOUT ME

Born in Toronto, Canada and went to university just outside of the city at McMaster. I am currently taking a gap year in between my 3rd and 4th year. I had the travel bug itching at me for some time and just decided to postpone graduating and the real world to do some European backpacking. It has been amazing so far. I've been to Stockholm, Berlin, Prague, Munich, Venia and Interlaken. I heard about couch surfing a while ago, but wasn't really sure what it was all about, until I came to Switzerland and met some other surfers who gave it a very strong recommendation. So I'd love to just on 'board'. (apology for the cheesy pun)

PHILOSOPHY

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Because I've just signed up for couch surfing recently, I have yet to actually stay anywhere. My only experience with the network is through word of mouth by people who have done it and really enjoyed it.

Favourite movies are: Lost in Translation, Garden State, Reality Bites, The Last King of Scotland...many more, just can't think of them all right now.
Books: Currently reading The Unbearable Lightness of Being, last novel read was Atonement by Ian McEwan...really just popular fiction.
Music...Linken Park, Brand New, Broken Social Scene, Sugarbabes, Oasis, Timbaland, Garth Brooks....again, wide variety of music taste.

This month has been amazing. I've in 6 different countries in Europe and feel like I've just touched a drop of things to do and see.
