I am currently interning at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Performance Programs which allows me the flexibility to get to know Chicago arts in front of and behind the scenes while pursuing independent curating projects.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just getting started.
Looking forward to getting settled in Chicago (just moved from Oakland in late August).

I hope to host as soon as I locate a place of my own next year.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've lived in communal environments for the last 10 years, taking to a futon or a couch when in between roommates.

I'm intrigued by everyday rituals and like to join in when it makes sense - coffee brewing and/or morning meditation are two of the most warming experiences I've had.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Traveled to Thailand when I was 16 - will never forget how independent we were expected to be at such a young age. It was my first time out of the U.S. and the first time in a place where there were no phones - you simply showed up at someone's house if you wanted to get in touch with them.

Traveled to Venezuela in 2007 and was able to spend almost 2 uninterrupted weeks with a dear friend. I had just separated from an unfulfilling job and had a "f--- it" moment. Decided to go to Venezuela and was there less than 2 weeks later.
