Experience the historic and local culture of as many places as possible, and paint them too!
I'm cool and collective, getting the job done right-kind of person formally, but tend to get silly and have a great time in a non-alcoholic, new experience kind of way once I've connected with friends.
Something of an introvert in that I don't really talk unless spoken to/mean to say something; I believe real communication is listening to learn about each other.
There is no good/evil right/wrong outside of our individual perception, only your choice of emotions and the ever quest to satiate our curiosity to understand that.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Surfing/hiking/wildlife watching in Tofino, Vancouver Island isn't just an amazing thing I've done, but an immensely amazing place that I come back to year after year. I've never felt more free, whole, and serene than I do there, and I'm an avid spiritualism seeker.
Teach, Learn, Share
Really my best card is art. I don't have a degree because there is no school that can set the career of an entrepreneur artist on the internet. I grew up with one of the more successful ones as a mother and with a knack for finding the right learning materials in books, magazines, and workshops. My specialties cater to fandom and fantasy communities with digital art made with a tablet.
Secondly, I have a thing for self development; the kind of stuff that innovates your perception. Here are a bunch of titles I recommend you look for if you want to improve your life. I don't swear by everything they stand for, but they did some pretty cool things for me: The Secret, 177 Mental Toughness Secrets of the World Champions, Lost Language of God, Centerpoint - Holosync Technology.
I also study Feng Shui in books, my practice isn't professional, but it seems to work well enough. I can give my hosts energy flow advise about their floor plans.
Some things I hope to learn through couch surfing is Japanese language/historic culture, most everything of lesser known countries, new places rarely touched by man full of life and beauty, photography (how you make a business out of it), conservation, and eco living.
