So personality wise, 'Im like Che Guevara with bling on/Im complex.' Yet simple and positive at the same time. Born in Portugal to parents from East Timor, I grew up in Perth, Australia. Graduated from university and then came across to Europe on a backpacking trip in 2007. From swinging in London to snowboarding for a season in the alps to walking across Spain to working as a bartender in Vienna, my journey of self discovery has continued ever since (and I have not yet made it back home).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Started using CS in summer 2009 and was shown wonderful hospitality by the people I met in Germany, Austria, Slovakia and Hungary.
Host when I can and always down for coffee and a walk.
All positive experiences. All more than I could have hoped for. There's no better way to see a city than through the eyes of the people who live in it.
Coffee and a good sunset/sunrise. Music and travel (who doesn't). Sports (rugby and Australian Football in particular). I'm currently obsessed with doing everything sideways - snowboarding, longboarding, surfing.
Music, Movies, and Books
'One good thing about music, when it hits you feel no pain.'
Love music. Love it. But don't we all. Probably fiend for classic rock (1965-75), am most comfortable dancing to funk, walk with a little soul in my step, and have hip-hop forever in my heart.
Blogs are always interesting (once you sort through the shit) and I live for anything by Bill Simmons (sports writer). Lately I haven't read as many novels as I'd like but count Vonnegut, Hemmingway, Bukowski and Hunter S. Thompson as personal favouites.
Could watch any movie but I'm an addict for TV shows like Seinfeld, Game Of Thrones, The Wire, Mad Men and The Office. If you like The Office there's a 99.9% that we'll get along.
