Well, I'm not sure if this world really exists. According to some scientist, it is more likely for this universe to be the idea of some sort of uber brain than to have actually come into existence from a big bang. But than again, how does one calculate the possibility of the one let alone the other. Nevertheless an interesting thought. Doesn't get me anywhere in my selfdescription...

So again. I studied Computational Engineering Science at the TU Berlin. This basically means, I enrolled and spent A LOT of time drinking coffee, while there where apparently lectures about all kinds of mathematics and physics and engineering right next door...but I like coffee and so developed a skill for autodidacticism. One might have to add, that the chairs in the lecture theaters are no comparision to the really cosy beanbags of my favorite café!

Anyway, I also developed an addiction for bouldering during that time. I spend some three evenings per week at my local boulder joint. Like the people, like the sport, they have good coffee also! And they play my choice of music. Which might lead over to another quite important point.

I love music! A couple of years back I was listening to all sorts of metal, from Speed to Death, Hardcore to Symphonic...that slowly changed and diversified. Atm or for the last seven years I`ve been listining to many variations of electronic (dance) music. Also a strong liking for the flow of good vibes in HipHop and Rap developed. Probably as long as I can remember, I enjoyed classical music of composers like Beethoven and Tchaikovsky. This does not exclude any other genre in particular. But I don`t listen to music because I could not stand the silence, I do so because music expresses the things words can describe.

Ok, this is becoming quite a novel...and I didn't even start philosophising about people, societies or politics. Maybe next time.

Obviously for purposes of mutual interest. I like the opportunity to meet people from all over the world and to stay with locals while on travels myself gives one quite a headstart into getting to know a place. In return I'm trying to help people out if they somehow end up in Bremen :)

I try to be interested in everything. There are only a very few things which I yet do not like to do. These are kite flying without a board and watching sports, for the latter getting involved in any kind of sport is a different matter.

Astrophysics, technology and human behavior are fields of science which I try to keep in touch with. But in fact I like to read about nearly every subject. Out there are so unbelievable many things to learn :)

Have been reading quite a few historical novels. Atm not really in the mood for them...
Have been reading some all time classics like Dumas, Harper Lee, Doyle, O. Wilde. Might be starting another one these days...
Recently got into crime stories...Ian Rankin for example
Also I read numerous books about psychology, human behaviour, negotiation theory, politics, international relations, public relations, propaganda, warfare, emotions, psycho analytics, mathematics, astro and quantum physics...

--- And I read all comics of Asterix and Obelix!!!
--- Also quite a lot Donald Duck...Don't really dig Mickey Mouse though...
