Writing, exploring, growing completely out of the system, learning more about lightheartedness, and enjoying life!
I am a British/Persian writer and published author (24 books: personal development, psychology and self help www.edengalaxy.com), public speaker and humanitarian aid doctor who took part in many missions with doctors without borders (MSF)and the United Nations.
I am based in South Tenerife (Adeje) which is the warmer end of this little paradise. I organise many events, walks and picnics here in Tenerife and help link CSers with other CSers. I lead a charitable initiative to help young travelers who are at cross roads in their lives find a meaningful purpose and direction.
I worked as a medical doctor with international humanitarian organisations around the world (MSF, and UN) for a decade, the UK national health service and then independently as a coach, public speaker, and author. I moved to Tenerife which is a little paradise just more than 5 years ago. I am a slow nomad and travel part of the year slowly to another location to experience life as a local elsewhere as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I invite interesting people to come over and show them around a little bit. I organise many picnics and hiking trips in Tenerife almost every week. Hopefully this would be an opportunity for some cultural/lingual/cooking exchanges, and spending a few hours together, not to be used solely as a B&B!!!
The vast majority of CS people I met were wonderful. I have met many good and long term friends, and I am grateful to the experience. There are some rather very few professional parasites also that infest this great initiative to use others, but once u get a bit more experienced u learn how to identify and avoid them :) those few come to your house to sleep, eat, waste as much time as they can pestering around and have no plans for their journeys other than killing hours and days and preying on others! Nothing is ever perfect, but this initiative is a fantastic one, and most people are interesting and fun. Thanks very much CS team :)
PLEASE SEND ME A COUCHREQUEST AFTER READING MY PROFILE FULLY, ONLY IF U THINK WE GOT THINGS IN COMMON AND IF U ARE INTERESTED IN SPENDING TIME TOGETHER, AND HAVING SOME CULTURAL EXCHANGE. I HOST PEOPLE WHO ARE INTERESTED IN SHARING, LEARNING, AND TEACHING. I host most good, simple, and humble people gladly:) I joined CS to make friends :)
A nice and cosy apartment, near all amenities, 10 minutes by bus to the sea...Massive and very very comfortable sofa for one person. If you are more than one you need to have your sleeping bag with you. No smoking inside, but you can smoke on the terrace!
Minutes away from historical walking hills of Barranco del infierno...Casa Fuerte, and Adeje Basilica...
I live on my own and dont have pets.
