I'm a 20 year old medstudent living and studying in Stockholm, Sweden. I love to try new things; hiking in beautiful forests, that really spicy food in the back of the menu or just exploring new parts of my hometown. I play the guitar and piano, love pizza a little too much and I never say no to a game of mario kart.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe meeting and interaction with new people really is what make us grow. Sharing experiences and getting to know new people from different backgrounds is something I really love to do. To me, there's no such thing as strangers.

Interests

I love anything involving nature; hiking, rafting, bicycling, skydiving - you name it! I also very much enjoy music, both playing and singing myself and going out to local concerts. I always bring my guitar when I'm traveling!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once when I was hiking by myself in the deep forests of Scotland - with a big backpack and a small tent - I saw a man laying on the ground. He was in a very bad condition and couldn't walk by himself! Since I never bring a cellphone on my adventures I had no choice but to carry him 12 kilometres to the closest cabin. Now I always get a Christmas card from him and his family.

If you find yourself lost with no compass; Hold your watch horizontally and point it so that the hour hand is facing into the sun. At the center point between the 12 and the hour hand is your north/south line, with north facing away from the sun. So if the hour hand is pointing at 4, for example, the 2 would point towards the south and the 8 would point towards the north. :)
