About Me

Hey peeps! I go by Eddie and I'm just a regular 20-something roaming the world trying to enrich the lives of others.

I recently quit my current position to pursue a dream of world travel. Not only that, I also hope to inspire others by documenting my experiences along the way. Sounds cliche, I know, but I hope you can give this kid a chance to meet the world through your experiences as he makes his way back home.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC

Too many genres to mention. According to Spotify I last year I listed to 93 different genres of music. Mainly I listen to a lot of folk, alternative, and hip-hop/rap.

MOVIES

Not a big movie guy to be honest. Like I do watch and enjoy them but I don't get all into them like some of my friends. I mostly watch action thrillers, comedy, and documentaries.

BOOKS

I read mostly non-fiction (self-improvement section), but I do enjoy a good fictional story every once in a while.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When you don't have much, the most amazing thing you can do is give/share your time on this earth with someone.

Couple months ago (middle of winter) I went into a grocery store to use the toilet. As I was walking out, an older lady spoke out to grab my attention. I approached her and sat next to her and talked to her for about 5 minutes before one of the clerks came to kick us out. She began by telling me her current struggle of not being able to collect enough money to pay for this room/hostel situation she was previously staying at (she had been homeless for months at this point). I proceeded to give her all the cash I had in my pockets and asked her if she needed something else. She then said that I already had done more than enough to help her. She said, "Thank you for spending the time to getting to know me and I hope you the best on your journey."

What I Can Share with Hosts

I grew up working alongside my father who does construction and I work in the architectural field so if you need to fix something around the house and you have some tools, I may be able to help!
I do make some mean shrimp ceviche and make great steak tacos if you're into that sort of stuff.
I always try to leave a place just how I found it and hope to make friends along the way.
