To learn as much as possible using the world as my classroom.
Grew up around closed minded people. Ever since I had the chance to brach out I have. The simplest way to escape was to join the army, so I did at 17. Took some college, got deployed and here I am now trying to travel and experience new things. I am up for anything! I enjoy trying to underrstand people and how they think. I love adventure and want to try it all. I am easy going, rather chill. While I have my perspective on things, I can see where everyone is coming from, unless you are a completely unreasonable illogical individual.
Post modernism explains a lot! People are different or the same, interesting or lame, crazy or sane because of what they have experienced. And yes I made that rhyme a little on purpose. Peace, love and understanding...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I want to couch surf first as I am not settled, but when I am settled will enjoy hosting people from all over.
None yet, plan on surfing soon.
I am interested in learning from experiences and expanding my mind and viewpoints. I also simply love living life. Anything that you might find fun, tell me about it so I can experience it. I like adventurous things, and adrenaline rushes. I like to party, but chill is better sometimes.
Music, Movies, and Books
Quinten Tarintino Fan! Documentaries are great! I can enjoy most movies and any psychological thriller, but I am a acting critic. I enjoy all types of music; some people say they listen to music to get in a certain mood, but I usually listen to music depending on my mood. "The Cannon: A Whirligig Tour of the Beautiful Basics of Science" by Natalie Angier is great. "Confessions of an Economic Hit Man" by John Perkins will enlighten you some and depress you at the same time.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have served towards my country's wishes in Afghanistan (which I don't agree with at all anymore). Also I went to Lagos, Nigeria when I was 10 years old. It was on a mission trip with my dad, but I got to experience the culture a little which was rather cool.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have come to know how society is effed up. And how wasteful my country is. I also am a medic and love people. I am rather young and am looking forward to learning more from people than I currently have to share, but am happy to share what I have experienced.
