To visit all 10 provinces of Canada during my year exchange!
I am from Hong Kong SAR, a former British colony (but chinese since 1997). I have also lived in MACAU when I was young but I barely remember the experience. Anyway, I now live in and study in London. I've been there since the age of 12, pretty much because the life was better and more stable there. I study Earth Science(in the main university in London)... which basically means I study the earth. (climate change, Earthquakes, History...so I guess I just love this planet) I use CS and I hitchhike partly because I'm a poor man but most importantly because I want to meet people and learn about their culture.
Basically, I love nature, meeting people, languages, life, earth, cultures, food, music.... I guess that is why I love Traveling
I hitchhiked from London to Hong Kong during the summer of 2013 and Couchsurfing saved my ass, so I owe a lot to this network!
As for hosting, I get many requests a day.
SPEAKERS OF Spanish, French, Turkish, Russian, Serbo-Croatian, Farsi, Portuguese or Polish are especially welcome since I plan to learn these languages in the next few years (very ambitious I know).
If I host people who speak Mandarin then please know that I would prefer not to speak these languages.... I'm awful at it and it sounds bad on my tongue!
Hitchhiking and no hostels... not because I want to save money but because I want to meet PEOPLE.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I hope I can make some good friends while traveling. Spend some time with the locals and hopefully give them a few laughs! In return, I will give as much help as I can to those who cross my path even if my evil parents don't want me to host you.FAVORITE TRAVELING INSPIRATIONAL QUOTES:The best things in life are free - the best things in life are not things! -Kinga & Chopin Only those who risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go -T.S.ElliotNo person is a failure who is enjoying life."- William FaulknerThe shortest distance between two points is not a very interesting journey.- R. GoldbergThe World is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page- St. Augustine
“Traveling is a brutality. It forces you to trust strangers and to lose sight of all that familiar comfort of home and friends.
You are constantly off balance. Nothing is yours except the essential things: air, sleep, dreams, sea, the sky - all things tending towards the eternal or what we imagine of it.” - Cesare Pavese
