ABOUT ME

I work as a professional paramedic and have been doing that for over 30 years. I spend a fair amount of time volunteering for Medical Teams International. That is what I really enjoy and what has produced the most fun and worth, and joy in my life besides my two awesome kids! For the above endeavors I find myself rushing around a lot so in my free time I avoid that like it is a plague. It's the journey not the destination for me...

PHILOSOPHY

Try to pass on the good stuff. Affirm positive, diminish negative. Teach, learn, share. Accept varying opinions. Everyone is on a tough journey....even if it doesn't look like they are.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Most of my travels involved couch surfing before it was called couch surfing. Have met the best people that way.

Interessen

My best couch was in Guiuan Phillipines after the Tsunami in 2013, no roof no electricity, very little food, no running water except rain, no infrastructure....Met the best people and got to see how to be thankful.
