I'm Ellen and live in Los Angeles. I'm a writer and gallerist at a contemporary art space. While I'm a complete history nerd at heart, my passions include writing about art and connecting with others through conversation and adventure. Oh, and coffee.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This winter (late December/early January) I'm traveling through Israel and Turkey. I am looking for people that can offer to host me in Jerusalem, Istanbul, and Tel Aviv, though I'm open to other places as well.

I can offer friendly conversation, insight into life in California, the possibility of hosting you in L.A., and a very easygoing & pleasant hosting experience!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Standing on top of the Acropolis and taking in the beauty of the Parthenon - no question, one of the most overwhelming moments of my life.

I think when traveling you have to be open-minded, gracious, tune into the local cultural ideas and remain very calm when you miss your flight home.
