To discern what it is I want to do in life with my ever so practical degrees in Philosophy and Poetry.
I'm quirky, I'm quick with a pun, and I laugh more at my own jokes than probably anyone else. I love people and effervescent beverages. I like to go for REALLY REALLY long walks (my most recent "walk" was completing the entire Appalachian Trail, NOBO 2007). I adore movies, even the bad ones. I have been known to write "Mostly Not A Fish" in the sand. If I were a breakfast cereal I'd be cocoa puffs, because who doesn't love chocolate? Free food is extremely high on my list of things that should keep happening frequently (vinegar is the lowest of low on this list). I like games, puzzles and riddles. I'm very easily absorbed by blinking lights and screens. I also enjoy pressing any number of buttons, especially if they are attached to said blinking lights and screens.
There's a TON to smile about. And if you don't have enough to smile about, you aren't looking hard enough. If you can't smile at all, your eyes must be closed (weather or not you closed them yourself). Finding ways to smile again from there is not easy. But easy isn't all it's cracked up to be. Smiling is worth how hard it can be. Take the time to revel in your messes. Have fun in the little mud puddles we make of our lives. You only get one mud pit to wallow about in. Might as well enjoy it. Tag! You're it!

If you brashly assume that I like everything, you'll be pretty darn close to the truth of the matter.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Thru-Hiking the entire Appalachian trail I guess is a pretty amazing thing to have under my belt. It was my "little" post-collegiate adventure. Also, I got to pet a bear this summer! (picture) How many people can say they got the chance to do that?
Teach, Learn, Share
I bring with me the gifts of humor, smiling, and warmth of heart. I hope to find in others their own peculiar depth they bring to the universe and what they do with it.
