About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To have as much fun as humanly possible!

ABOUT ME

I am originally from Upstate New York, but have been living in boston for the last 3-4 years. I am currently traveling through the UK and Europe on my way to spend about a year in New Zealand. I plan on participating in the WOOFing program while abroad, but would really like to get as much travel in as possible.

PHILOSOPHY

To wake up every morning grateful for the opportunities I will have throughout the day.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I currently do not have a couch, but as soon as I have one it will be available to anyone on CS.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am totally new to CS, I really love the concept of it, and I hope to have great experiences in the near future.

Interests

I really love food, like in an obsessive kind of way. I went to culinary school and have worked in the service industry for about 9 years. There is no food that I wont eat, although I'm sure saying that here will get me into some trouble abroad! I really like to go to museums and learn new things everyday. Its really hard for me to specify my interests because there are few things that I am not interested in.

Music, Movies & Books

I havent seen too many movies recently, but back in the States I was a bit of a movie buff... not sure I could still hold my own though.
I am open to basically any kind of music, not terribly fond of heavy metal or country (with the exception of bluegrass and folk)
Living out of a rucksack has limited my reading options, but I brought along Trainspotting, and One Flew Over The Cukoos Nest

One Amazing Thing I've Done

While in Dubai I went dune crashing in the desert and got up close and personal with some wild camels

Teach, Learn, Share

Sharing: I would love to leave the houses that I stay at with little cooking tips. I know a lot of random things that might help you along if you get onto Jeopardy too!
Learning: I would really love to soak in some culture while I'm out and about, if anyone can teach me about agriculture and sustainability that would be pretty awesome.

Countries I've Visited

France, Germany, Iceland, Netherlands, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom

Countries I've Lived In

New Zealand, United States
