I dont have a mission... maybe its to find a mission
I'm new to the couchsurfing community, and am excited to meet new people. I have lived in Kitchener, Ontario for most of my life (about an hour from Toronto). I recently left my corporate job at RIM (was there 5 years). Now that I'm out of the cubicle life, I'm doing some travelling, reflection, and just really enjoying some time off!
I would describe myself as someone that likes to chill out and enjoy the moment on one day and the next day I'm a total goofball or I'm ready to light up the town. Maybe it's because I'm a gemini so I really do have multiple sides.
The toughest lessons in life are the most meaningful.. soak it up.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Currently travelling and meeting new people.
I haven't yet had a couchsurfing experience, but I do know what I'm hoping to get out of the experience! I'm interested in meeting likeminded people to get to know, go for drinks with, and have some laughs. As I travel through different places I would really like to exchange stories about travelling, our cultures, and really have time away from the usual tourist experience.
I really enjoy to ride my bicycle around town, going out dancing with my friends, and listening to many different kinds of music.
Music, Movies, and Books
Indie, electroninic. Bands Im listening to: LCD Soundsystem, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Fever Ray, Little Dragon... but I also like old stuff too... Ella Fitzgerald, Blakc Sabbath... all over the place really
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went on an amazing trip in California last year. My boyfriend and I spent some time in San Francisco, then drove down the Pacific Coast highway, stayed in the redwoods and sat by the ocean. I definately recommend this trip and am happy to give you my opinion on travels if you are heading to California!
Teach, Learn, Share
I really like to make soup... maybe I can share some of my favorite soup recipes. Otherwise, I think people learn through open conversation.
