To trot across Europe, explore as much as possible, and meet fascinating people
For the time being, this profile is actually representing myself and two other guys. The three of us are planning a two month backpacking trip all around Europe. We'll be there from mid-October through mid-December. We're all really easy-going and outgoing guys who love meeting new people and trying new things. You can learn more about each of us at our travel blog: eurobites.wordpress.com.
Me personally, I'm a recent college graduate. I grew up in a small town in Indiana, but I'm ready to explore the world and everything that comes with it. I'm a very open-minded person. I always love some good, dry, sarcastic humor. I enjoy a pretty good balance of good time parties (bars and clubs) as well as some more low-key activities (chatting, cooking, movies, board games).
Nothing ventured; Nothing gained. Life is about trying new things, taking risks and learning from mistakes. I intend to do all three of those with as much grace as possible. I also firmly believe in not taking life too seriously :-)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am really interested in getting out there, exploring as much as possible, getting to know new people and their cultures and in turn learning more about myself and my culture.
All three of us were newbies at the beginning of this trip, but have now surfed a couple of times and it was GREAT both times :-)
I love theatre, singing, dancing, music (I have a very eclectic collection and love discovering new things), architecture, writing, photography and my dog (a maltese!). Coffee table books and second hand bookstores are a passion of mine. I love cooking. I'll try about anything once. I have always been really interested in learning about different cultures and finding new ways to look from the outside in on my own culture. I'm genuinely interested in people and love starting conversations about just about anything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
New York City in general. I would consider it something amazing that I've seen and done. The first time I walked through Times Square at night or the first time I saw a Broadway show. When I finally figured out how to get myself around the subways. When I lost my wallet and had it miraculously returned to me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to fold a gum wrapper into a t-shirt. And I'm sure you've been dying to learn that!
I really want to learn to drive a car with a manual transmission. Juggling is also a skill of interest to me. I'm really interested in learning more about photography as well.
Cooking is another thing I really enjoy and am always willing to learn and teach anything, so I suppose this would fall under the "share" category.
Other things to be shared: life stories, laughter and drinks.
