One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This trip is a sort of a celebration for me as well as challenge. You see, 10 months ago I was involved in a very serious car accident with a Metro Bus. I broke both my legs in several places. about 33 fractures all together... After 9 surgeries, a bunch of metal in my legs, and months of physical therapy - I am back up on my feet and walking pretty well. I still use a cane but I am on my way off of it. I just had my final dr's appointment and he said that everything was looking good and mostly healed so he gave me the go-ahead for my europe trip. I am going to be traveling alone most of the time, with a 40-50 pound pack on my back ... so i think that it will be a good challenge for me - to overcome all that I have had to go through with my accident. I have grown a lot through my injury / recovery!
