For the time being: to save myself in order to save the world a bit later.
At times I may seem a bit shy on first acquaintance, but actually I enjoy going out, meeting new people and experiencing new things.
I'm friendly, tolerant and interested in a lot of things, so I think it's easy to find common ground with me.
Basically, there are two sides of me. The Cool Headed Side keeps telling me to spend time quietly doing the ordinary stuff. The Adventurous Side takes over when I get an idea into my head and become bent on turning it into reality. (King of Bilbo Baggins story, huh?)
Go for it.
If you try hard and still don't succeed, in the end you'll have something to remember and nothing to be sorry for. We live only once, don't we.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
No experience yet, hoping to get some
sports (various kinds including yoga, swimming, diving and dancing; specifically, now I'm learning to dance jazz modern);
art and photography (I go to art galleries a lot, and I also attended photography courses a couple of years ago);
psychology (I studied it at the university and got really interested);
listening to music and going to concerts (I used to play the guitar, then gave it up, now I wish I hadn't);
hitech (ok, I'm actually relatively bad at it, but I have every intention to improve).
- music festivals
- scuba diving
- rock climbing
Music, Movies, and Books
Love rock music ( mostly alternative or punk) !
Also enjoying jazz, lounge, instrumental music and a bit of folk.
Can watch almost any movie depending on the mood (from "Schindler's list" to "Donnie Darko", and from "Amadeus" to "The Breakfast Club").
As for the books, I mostly read classical literature.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Diving in the Mediterranean sea, open air music festivals, spending a night in the mountains under the stars, going to the opera, visiting the Sagrada Familia cathedral in Barcelona, climbing the Etna volcano (the first things that come to my mind, but I've done much more).
Teach, Learn, Share
I am 100% willing to share my knowledge and skills (languages, art, psychology, traveling experience, information about Russia).
And I am curious by nature, and therefore interested in nearly everything you choose to tell me. I would be especially thankful for information about foreign cultures or lifestyles.
