I've just graduated university and I'm having a year out from work/study mainly to avoid the responsibility of adult life but also to travel around the US, Europe and Asia. I'm travelling at the moment with one of my uni housemates, Sarah and we're just looking to meet as many people and see as many places as humanly possible while we have the time and energy to do it.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Like I said before, currently travelling round the US. Flew into LA and working our way across to New York for Christmas. We've stayed in hostels and hotels and airbnb and couch surfed along the way. We have found that couch surfing is so much different from the others because the people actually want to meet you and show you round and give you tons of advice and knowdlege about the area. We are just eager to have an amazing time with people who have the same interests as us in seeing the world and connecting with people from the entire other side of it.

Música, películas y libros

Books: currently reading Freakonomics, which is absolutely blowing my mind. But if you had asked me the same question about a week ago, probably would've answered To Kill a Mockingbird. Sarah disagrees, her fave is the Kite Runner or Pride and Prejudice.
Movies: We both love the Hunger Games and Harry Potter (obvs) but in terms of quality, probably the Blind Side or Shawshank Redemption.
Music is the hardest one, I just love stuff that makes you feel something. Currently binging on The 1975, Coldplay and Florence and the Machine. It really depends on my mood/the day of the week. Sarah is all about that country music.

Last summer I led a summer school in Romania for over 150 disabled and disadvantaged children.
Most recently though, survived a forest fire.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

Some of the ridiculous stories we've collected along the way so far.
There aren't all that many traditional English dishes but we love to cook so happy to make a roast dinner for hosts (may even throw in some Yorkshire puddings if you're lucky).
