About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Growing and Spreading Awareness! Helping the world unify to progress together!

ABOUT ME

I'm currently a student at FSU. Traveling has always been a huge part of my life! I have been to Japan, Australia, Canada, Mexico, and a lot of the U.S. I write, film, perform and write music, travel, work with groups of people, kite-board, surf, read, skate, learn, teach, eat, party, drink coffee, exercise, and love living a healthy life consisting of new people and new things. I live to interact with foreign people and ideas. I am constantly pursuing things I haven't experienced yet. Stepping out of your comfort zone is my favorite way of learning, and it has become a lifestyle. I like getting involved, and I do a lot of different things. I love interacting with people, and creating new friendships. Music, poetry, motion picture, philosophy, reading, traveling, photography, outdoor activities, social activities, kiteboarding, and learning take up most of my time. Oh, and my job, I am an Outdoor Pursuits Trip Leader.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't wait to do the things you feel like you are here to do. The only person ever stopping you is yourself. There are always good people out there, and anything is possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The second I learned about CS, I signed up. I love the idea, and feel like it is extremely important to push the world in a direction that relates with CS's mission. Unfortunately, I have no couch to offer currently because I am living on campus, but I am definitely down to show some one around or do whatever I can to help out travelers in my area. I guess for now, I am primarily a surfer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am a new member to CS, but I have had a lot of similar experiences. Stayed with a family in Japan and Australia and it was amazing. Completely shifted my paradigm at a young age, and helped me develop into who I am today. As for other experiences, my brother and I do a lot of traveling and tend to always end up on a friends couch. It is the best way to travel.

Interests

Writing, Reading, Cinematography, Photography, Poetry, MUSIC, Traveling, the Outdoors (but also big cities), People, Rock Climbing, Kiteboarding, Education, Surfing, I pretty much covered the main points already I think.

Music, Movies, and Books

Bands (first two that instantly come to mind): Pepper, Modest Mouse
Movies (first two that instantly come to mind): Fight Club, Into the Wild
Books (first two that instantly come to mind): The Lords and the New Creatures, Scar Tissue
These three categories could go on forever so I kept it brief because I do not write a novel of all my favorite movies, books, and bands. I do have an open-mind though, and am always interested in new music, books, and films as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ahh how do I pick! Jumping out of a aircraft at 15,500 ft was pretty amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn anything and everything I do not know! Or at least as much as I can. It seems like with every answer I get five more questions. I really enjoy sitting with new people, talking, and also seeing new things=travel. You really do not even have to try to make it a learning interaction.
However, as for exchange, I know a lot about my hobbies that are listed above and different aspects that are apart of my job. I love teaching people anything I can to help them experience new things they haven't done or thought about yet.
