Music, Movies, and Books

My absolute favourite book is Murakami's "Wind-Up Bird Chronicle".

Favourite movies include Ghost in the Shell, Kuroneko, Smoke Signals, Under the Skin, Spirited Away, Yi Yi a One and a Two, Pastoral to Die in the Country, Paris, Texas... (I like a lot of east Asian cinema, love horror, coming of age films)

Hard to pick my absolute favourite music, I have a pretty eclectic taste including jazz, rap, soul, folk, world, electronic, pop, punk... I love Nina Simone, William Onyeabor, Amadou & Mariam, The Knife, Snoop Dogg, Girlpool, Charles Mingus, Vashti Bunyan, to name a few, and I'm open to anything new.

Let me cook for you! I am passionate about the importance of a wholesome shared meal. Let me bring you a gift (I write poems, create art...make mix cd's). I want to share something of myself with you. I have a lot of love and would be happy to dance and sing or be quiet with you.
