Hello! We're Elena and Toni, we're 28 years old and I'm a nurse and he's a software engineer. We have been living in Barcelona for many years and now we're living in Tenerife but soon we will start a backpack trip of several months around South America.

Interests

Toni and me are a great team because we have many different interests but we share our love for travel!
I like cooking (especially pastries). I like all kind of handworks and lately I have discovered and I'm really interested in organic farm and eco-building.
Toni likes computers, technology (yes, he is the typical geek), books and painting.

Toni y yo formamos un gran equipo porque tenemos intereses muy diferentes el uno del otro aunque, por supuesto, compartimos los viajes!
A mi me encanta la cocina, sobretodo la repostería. Me gustan todo tipo de trabajos artesanales y desde hace poco he descubierto y me interesa mucho la agricultura sostenible y la ecoconstrucción.
A Toni le gustan los ordenadores, la tecnología (es el típico geek), los libros y la pintura.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite style of music is Rock&Roll. I prefer the classic ones: The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, The Doors... but I confess that I'm not very passionate about music, so Toni is always who surprises me with a new group or a new music style.
I love reading, and I don't have a strong preference there. I think there is a book for each moment. For example, some of my favourite authors: Dostoyevski, García Márquez, JK Rowling, Murakami, Saramago, Oliver Sacks, Tolkien, and more!

Lately, we prefer tv shows more than movies, these are some of the ones we are watching: Shameless, Fargo, True Detective, The Office, Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, The Big Bang Theory...

Mi estilo de música favorito es el Rock. Prefiero los clásicos: The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, The Doors... aunque he de confesar que no soy muy aficionada a la música, así que Toni casi siempre consigue sorprenderme con algún grupo o estilo de música nuevo.
Me encanta leer, y en este sentido no tengo un gusto determinado. Creo que hay un libro para cada momento. Por poner algunos ejemplos de autores: Dostoyevski, García Márquez, JK Rowling, Murakami, Saramago, Oliver Sacks, Tolkien, y un monton más!

Últimamente preferimos antes las series de TV que las películas, estas son las últimas que estamos viendo: Fargo, True Detective, The Office, Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, The Big Bang Theory...

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach cooking (spanish cooking and pastries), teach sewing (basic things) or give some advices on health and nutrition (remember, I'm a nurse!). Toni could help you with computer, internet, teach programming or anything related to technology.
We would love to learn about the culture and the history of the places that we visit, traditions and gastronomy.

Por mi parte, puedo enseñar a cocinar (cocina española y repostería), a coser cosas sencillas o a dar consejos sobre salud y alimentación. Toni puede echarte una mano con el ordenador, internet o cualquier problemilla de tecnología :-)
Nos encantaría aprender sobre la cultura y la historia de los lugares que visitemos, sus tradiciones y su gastronomía.
