Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have taken a couch from freecycle network and installed it to my BabyCS group: Transilvania All Inclusive place.
Romanian Translation.
I shared my couch for travelers in Iasi City as long as it was free.
I am very happy when someone wants to be shown the City, because this is also a reason to go out to new places in (Iasi - old timer) or Tarragona.
I love Couchsurfing Cooking Nights, and Couchsurfing meetings.

I am the City ambassador in Tarragona since October 2011 and I organize some events and try to gather all couchsurfers from Tarragona together in order to improve the community.

Most of my couchsurfing experience was as host,
but Bavarian Weissbier in Ingolstadt was one of my marvelous experiences.

I was for a Business Trip in Ingolstadt. "Ich spreche ein bischen Deutsch; sprechst du English?" was my usual phrase in German. But on couchsurfing I was able to meet English speakers and this is just because most of the travelers are to be known good at English.

I found out about the existence of Kathleen in the Tarragona CS group.

Haloween CS Party in Salou 2013 which was my first party in Pablo's house.

Girona Winter Camp 2013 where I met more than 150 CSers.

Nihan Özkaya - my first guest who write me a negative reference ;-). Now it seems that she deleted that CS account so also my negative reference was deleted too!
This was my reference to her, but I wanted to update it a little bit in order to reply to her comments.
Nihan seems a nice and sweet traveler and a FREE SPIRIT.
For some reasons we did not connect very well. Maybe because of the language, or things don't work well sometimes.
The truth is that we got in touch through Tarragona facebook group, but if I would have seen her CS profile before (with a negative reference), I would have been more careful.
There were some funny moments together, we had kebab in Istanbul Restaurant, we walked together, etc.
When she told me that she can cook very good food, I was expecting her that she will prove that too, but she preferred to keep this secret away from me.
Even she does not have too much experience in CS at this moment, she also did not tried to learn more because she seems to me that she had the attitude of 'I know everything'.
When she left, she did not even said 'Good bye!' to me or to my Turkish flatmates, or at least leaving a note.
Nihan, I hope everything will work well in your travels, but everywhere I was until now I said Good Bye!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On Wednesday 4th of Nov 2009, a blade's knife broke when I greased butter on a bread slice with cheese immediately after that a christian orthodox priest warned that eating milk-based food Wednesdays is bad/forbidden.
[the full rule is refering at Wednesdays and Fridays and to those special periods when it is forbidden to eat animal-based food]

Teach, Learn, Share

Even if I'm a good "teacher", I think I shall start learning more from my guests.
I can teach you "How to HitchHike in Romania", "How to play erepublik", and also I can be a "Guide to air-hardening clay amateur handcraft".

2 or 3 days could be enough for introduction into some subjects.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Germany, Greece, Luxembourg, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Trinidad and Tobago, United Kingdom
