** Discovering Europe **
I'm currently on a trip with my boyfriend Robin, using mainly hitchhiking, couchsurfing and camping in Europe, starting with my home country France. Our plans are to go through Northern Italy, then Slovenia, Croatia, Austria, Czech Republic and finally Southern Germany.

We want to discover the world, countries, people, cultures, ideas! The purpose of this roadtrip is to meet people. We noticed it could be really difficult to meet new people, especially people different from us - we are very often with other engineering students. This trip is the opportunity to get in touch with the people of our country and neighbourgs!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Going to another country is really interesting only if you meet people, staying on the touristic paths is really sad! Getting in touch with locals and see how they are living is very interesting. It's also the opportunity to share culture, ideas, and if needed to give some help! :)

Interests

I love arts, especially drawing, painting, and sculpting, and I'll try to take some time during our trip to draw places and people. My project is to create an illustrated book of my travels.

I also love video games, as well as board games. With my boyfriend, we also like to conceive games, on computer or paper.

I also really like animals and nature. I worked with different kind of animals during my stay in a wildlife farm (I took care of snakes, turtles, rabbits, guinea pigs, horses, sheeps, llamas, owls, ...). I like to go for a walk or a hike, to see the city and surrouding nature.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorites movies are thrillers, fantasy or spaghetti westerns. My favourite movie is My Name Is Nobody, a masterpiece (with excellent musics) :).

To give you a global idea on my comic books and mangas tastes, I like the work of Brian K. Vaughan, Bill Watterson, Boulet, Alex Alice, Noaki Urasawa, Craig Thompson, Ozamu Tezuka, Hayao Miyazaki and Jirō Taniguchi (and many more ;).

I also read novels, such as Terry Pratchett's work. We could speak about comics, mangas and novels a looooong time if you're interested ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going to the adventure in Ankara at night, knowing nothing about the city! That was a very intense experience I had with my turkish penpal there.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can give you some tips about monocycling, drawing, French, comic books...

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share some french meals and show you some pictures of my home country, France.

What I'm expecting from a host/guest is to share some time with me either visiting the area, sharing some hobbes activities, watching a movie, playing a board game, or just chatting. Some time to get to know each other's personnality and culture.
