I'm 23 years old. Currently in college and studying Journalism. I'm majoring in radio, and would love to become a travel photographer/journalist. I live together with my boyfriend and our two cats in a tiny apartment in Deurne, near Antwerp city.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For now I'd like to visit interesting countries and cities, without having to spend 904391279 euros.I'm always in for having a drink in Antwerp city to have a random conversation with a total stranger and getting to know them a bit better. Always interesting to meet people with different (or the same, for that matter) views. So let me know when you're in town!

I haven't surfed before, but I would love to meet other people from all over the world!

Interests

I like travelling a lot, although I haven't seen much of the world yet. I love to explore other cities and see different cultures. My boyfriend and I are planning a world trip after my graduation.

I'm also very interested in photography. I own a Canon 600DD, also own some other lenses and an external flash. I'm a very proud owner and I take my 'baby' with me the whole time!
I also have a Polaroid-camera and would love to take it with me to a new exciting place, taking pictures from the people that host us as a nice and unforgettable memory.

I am a very outgoing, open-minded and social person and would like to practice my Spanish a bit while i'm in Spain. I've been a leader in a youth movement for over 7 years, and I enjoyed every moment of being with these children/teenagers.

As you can see in the pictures, I LOVE changing my hair color all the time :) Currently it's dark-brownish, with a red shimmer in it. I like experimenting a lot, so don't give me a weird look if my hair is orange all of a sudden ;-)

Oh and I'm a big fan of Josefien, my sewing machine. We're best buddies and hang out almost every day. I like to recycle old clothes from thrift stores to wearable items.

Party hardy! D&B, Dubstep and 90's surely is my favorite kind of music. But I also like some jazz.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spending the night under the stars with my boyfriend, a few years back. We woke up in the middle of the night because of the cold, started looking up at the stars and talking about nothing and everything, until the sun rose the next morning. I felt so extremely happy that particular moment, that I'll always remember that night.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can learn you the basics of sewing, which is so much fun! Creating your own clothing is an awesome thing to do.
