I'm a fairly quiet and neat person; I enjoy getting to know all sorts of different folks. I often feel overwhelmed with gratitude and have a hard time expressing it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I play traditional fiddle tunes and that's mostly what I know, but I love hearing different music that other people are excited about.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Picked wriggling silver salmon like jewels out of fishing nets by the light of the moon, the sky above twinkling with stars and the sea below sparkling with bioluminescence. In reverent silence, but for the sound of gentle waves and the occasional slap of a fish tail or blow of a whale. Later that night discovering silver scales adhered to faces and dark wet hoodies, little remnants of sea and sky.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share a song or two, an optimistic perspective, maybe something interesting or useful about procuring/cooking/preserving food, and at least a few reasons to be excited about plants, lichens, poop, and rotten things.

I've been told that I'm strong, helpful, and fairly handy, and would be happy to help out with whatever I can around the house during my visit.
