I am a born and raised Canadian, currently living in Newfoundland. I am shy and introverted, and I am looking to bring out my bubbly outgoing side. I will be starting in July 2017 as a trip to France to discover my roots and meet people on my travels!
I am an avid hockey player and tend to be a bit of an adventure seeker. I'm always looking for new things to try and do. I am well rounded in my hobbies, and I am always willing to share what interests those who ask. I recently finished a Paramedic program, so I shall be a licensed paramedic soon! I do not share my emotions very well, I tend to feel quite awkward when I do, however my care for another person will show through my generosity and thoughtful items, I am a lover of making and finding things that make me think of a particular person in my life who has made an impact.
I have interest in language, and had some difficulty learning French. We're talking several classes of which I could not properly latch on to the language. Not giving up though! I will not quit until I am fluent. So then I can learn another :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because locals are the most knowledgable about the area of which they live!
I am interested in what sets passion in others.
- outdoor activities
Music, Movies, and Books
I have a vast array of music, I am attending Lollapalooza Paris, which I am absolutely excited for. Red Hot Chili Peppers and Pixies live is really exciting!
I have too many books, I cant get enough time to read them all, but I keep getting them!
Movies, all depends on the mood I am in. I love a good comedy. Some of the most memorable movies ive watched have subtitles, and I like to watch a good scary movie now and then.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I have seen or done is work as a paramedic on my work term. I am in love with the profession.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm not perfect at cooking but I am more than willing to share my favorite dishes from Canada and Newfoundland. Newfoundland is like a large mix of cultures from countries overseas with a dialect and cuisine that reflects that. Although to be completely honest I will pick poutine over salt cod any day of the week, I am more than willing to share as much as I can!
