I live with my husband and 2 kids in Rockhampton, we have been here a couple of years since moving back from the United Kingdom. I work at the local hospital and my husband is a small business owner.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling, like to meet new people and used to do plenty of couch surfing when younger with friends around the world! Having a young family means don't get to go as far as I once did, so couch surfing may mean I can live vicariously through others who come to stay and tell me of their homes/travels...

Like most books other than romance novels…currently enjoying the Rivers of London series. Favourite books - Time travellers wife, The Lovely bones, Notes from a small island/big country, Rivers of London, Good Omens….. Movies - like sci-fi, dramas, 'indie' movies, everything by Wes Anderson and most things by the Coen Brothers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swam with humpback whales in Tonga, somewhat accidentally. We were supposed to be snorkelling with dolphins and then a humpback came and had a look at us…..
