ABOUT ME

I grew up in rural parts of California, USA and until very recently lived and worked in the San Francisco Bay Area. My partner Dave and I are dedicating the next year and a half (starting May 2010) to living and working on organic farms around the world to learn more about ecological food production and sustainable living. We started out in Costa Rica and will be traveling to upstate New York in the fall, then on to South Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and New Zealand.

For the last two years I worked in fundraising for Global Exchange (http://www.globalexchange.org/), an international human rights organization dedicated to promoting peace, economic justice and environmental sustainability. I would like to learn more about fair/organic/ecological food production, permaculture design, and sustainable communities. My main goal is to integrate my passion for justice, photography and ecological sanity with a skill set that will allow me to work outdoors.
