My husband and I have been living in Switzerland for a few months, and I love it. Having recently moved from Chicago in the U.S.A, it is a big change, but a nice one. I enjoyed my time in the States but I grew up in Scotland and I am used to both the city and the countryside being easily accessible at all times; Switzerland has this, and it rains a little less often!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I have quite eclectic music tastes. I love New Order, Joy Division, Donna Summer, Human League, Kraftwerk etc. for dancing to. However, I also really enjoy folk music of all kinds, as well as jazz and blues. I am more of a passive listener, though, and not much of a music buff.

I love all kinds of world cinema. My favourite films are Breaking the Waves and The Lives of Others, but I also really like kids films like Wall-E and Harry Potter. I don't watch much TV, but I love Doctor Who, Sherlock, Engrenages, wildlife documentaries, and Game of Thrones.

I am quite new to the area, so I can explore it with you. I have scouted out all the best second hand shops, which I really enjoy browsing at the weekends. I know some local mountain hikes, although I am only prepared to do these in the summer!
