Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

New to couch surfing but lots of hosteling experience.

Interests

My interests include travel and world cultures. I prefer to discover sights, sounds and tastes that are different from those I experience at home in the U.S. I'm always keenly interested in the people, history, and culture of the places I visit. I like to think of myself as an ambassador in small ways. I also enjoy rock climbing, mountaineering, hiking and adventure travel. I prefer to venture off the beaten path. I love meeting new people, visiting new places and learning new things. Cooking is also a passion of mine and I have a green thumb growing some of my own food.

Climbed Mount Baker —a volcano— and stood on the summit.
