Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want to make the world a better place with art and love
ABOUT ME
I love art: making it, seeing it, hearing it, otherwise experiencing it. I also like cities, justice, cooking, hospitality, DIY, singing, traveling, learning things, and community. One day, I hope to run an arts non-profit in an under-served urban neighborhood.
PHILOSOPHY
I think the most important thing in the world is to love other people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
By hosting and occasionally, being a wandering traveler.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couch surfed halfway across the country when my now husband moved to Austin, TX. My informal couch surfing experience includes sleeping on many friends' futons, spare beds and couches in Baltimore, MD, a friend-of-a-friend-of-a-friend's couch and spare bed in San Jose, CA, and hosting friends who come to visit.
Interests
ART! (all kinds), cities, community, designing dresses, making up recipes, wine (red and white), small-craft/locally brewed beer, efficiency, organization, living in "bad neighborhoods", the arts non-profit sector, love
