ABOUT ME

Well I'm all over the place. I was a professional ballet dancer for about a year until surgery ended that career. Then I stumbled into the restaurant biz and owned a small cafe. I figured I'd get bored if that was all I did with my life so I decided to go to school though I would very much like to open a restaurant as a retirement project. I discovered that I loved chemistry so now my mission is to get a phd and do research. Who knows, maybe after I get the degree I'll change my mind and pursue a completely opposite career...haha :)

PHILOSOPHY

It's not the length of time spent on the path that matters but the quality of the experience gained from the journey. I have to say that to justify my bouncing from one career to the next :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to couch surfing but would love to become incorporated into the network.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Though I don't have much of a CS experience, I spent many a night on random people's couches, floors, and porches when I went on my audition tour for ballet companies around the US. I also offered a place to stay for many people in my same predicament.

Interests

I love doing quirky things and will never say no to an adventure. As far as hobbies or interests go, I like to make bread (from scratch, no bread machines please), run, climb trees, sip a glass of wine while gazing at the stars... Though most of my time is devoted to work... always have to keep busy :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love old movies and books that look really old (sometimes they might be good to read too if I'm lucky). I'm a big fan of Shostakovitch, Prokofiev, Chopin, etc for classical and Radiohead, Portishead, Air, etc for 'normal' listening.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn more languages and see first hand the different cultures of the world.
