Let me first begin by saying that it is not just a me, but a we. I am married and have 2 amazing teenagers, (one boy one girl). My family and I are just recent travelers. We started by going on a week long cruise last February (2014) and the travel bug has since completely taken control. Yes, we want to see all the tourist traps, and every major venue your city, country has to offer, but we also want to meet the locals and get to know the true uniqueness that is offered in every country we visit in the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are attempting to couchsurf because we feel that this will be the easiest way to get to know something unfamiliar about a destination. We will get to see the way of life and get to meet some amazing people that will hopefully one day come to our city for us to show them the same hospitality.

Interests

Our interests are vast. We like to try everything and want to experience as much as we possible can. That being said, would i climb into a pit of a million snakes, or a crowded room of spiders.. no thanks. We are normal people wanting to experience normal things

Music, Movies, and Books

Again, this various. We listen to many different genres of music, watch many genres of movies and books - well they are the windows in to a brand new world, so it depends on where we want to go today that dictates what we read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Things we have done - we have held alligators in our hands in Florida, wrapped crocodiles around our necks in Cuba, ate iguana in Honduras, snorkeled in Mexico, have crossed the transatlantic ocean in a cruise ship where we not only learned how to surf, but go to go ice skating and zip lining on the boat as well.
