ABOUT ME

I'm 24 and in the Peace Corps. I'm an only child who loves to travel. When I travel I want to get off of the beaten path. I want to see the county through the eyes of the natives as best as i can. Not to say that I don't enjoy the typical tourist sites. I tend to try and do a mix of both when possible. I like to cook and trying new foods is always a must. However can't have much dairy since I'm lactose intolerant.

I can be shy when I first meet someone but after getting to know me I am very talkative. I don't really talk in big groups though. I find that when I listen I learn a lot more then when I talk. I am very close to my friends and can be protective over those I love.

I am a very open-minded person. I love adventures, this could be anything from hiking through the amazon to playing a joke on a friend. Both have their thrills. I enjoy trying new things as long as they are not going to get me in trouble. I am very optimistic and down to earth person but emotional. I don't hide my feelings well so when I'm angry you will know, when I'm happy I'm happy and so on. Fortunately very little can bother me or phases me.

I want to go into Bio Conservation with either an wildlife or marine focus. I am interested in the green movement but I wouldn't say I'm crazy about it.

PHILOSOPHY

I feel that everything happens for a reason even if we don't understand what that reason is right now. We also all have to slow down and enjoy the world around us.

Interests

My interests consist of a lot of things so I will narrow it down to a few. My favorite outdoors activities are caving and whitewater rafting. I love to read and to learn about new great reads. I listen to a wide variety of music excluding opera, metal, electronic, and rap. I write stories that are rarely published more of a hobby that I do for my own enjoyment. I have fun surfing the internet maybe more than I should. I enjoy playing games and getting in touch with my inner child. I love animals even if i don't have any of my own. I like to cook and learn new recipes. Most of all i like to make new friends and meet new people and cultures.
