ABOUT ME

I'm 26, and about to embark on the scariest thing I've ever done. Starting university doesn't hold a candle to the enormity of what I'm about to do: take a 30 day bike ride from S. Ontario to Jasper, Alberta.

Apart from this, I write, crochet, and ponder the Meaning Of It All while walking the dog.

Music, Movies, and Books

In general, I prefer Sci-Fi and Fantasy to read, especially anything by R.A Heinlein, Neil Gaiman, and Terry Pratchett

With movies, I like anything that makes me happy. It could be the sappiest chick flick, or a movie with a lot of interesting, improbable explosions, or anything in between. Bonus points for anything with unicorns in.

As for music, about the only thing I don't actively listen to is Rap/Hip-Hop and Country, but it seems that Trip-hop is the genre I return to most often.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've been crocheting for five years, or thereabouts, and I've gotten quite good at it. I can teach the basics needed to get one started constructing bags, scarves, gloves, blankets, hats, dolls, coats, etc.

I'm open to learning anything, from the Welsh language to cooking to gardening to spinning and dying my own yarn to book binding. All knowledge is welcome.
