About Me

I'm 27 years old and from a small town in Bavaria, Germany. Currently I live in Munich and work at a media company. I spent 5 months in Miami, Florida doing an internship with a tour operator/destination management company which was quite an amazing adventure. My next adventures is going to be a 9-month world trip starting in August!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I simply want to be a part of this huge community. Being a good host as well as a friendly guest I want to do my bit to improve the reputation of this great website.

I've had some great experiences in the US and in Germany...and I can't wait to surf again!

Interests

Other countries, their people, language, cities, landscape, culture, mentality - that's what I'm most interested in and that's what couchsurfing is all about, isn't it?

Another important thing in my life is music: I listen to music, I make music, I love music, I live music.
I play the piano in an acoustic band, it's such a great experience when you have the opportunity to share your passion with other people and make them laugh, dance and scream ;-)

Music, Movies, and Books

Well, I love good old rock music, especially THE BOSS, Bruce Springsteen.

I'm not picky when it comes to movies...but it should either have some action, a good thriller-plot or simply be funny.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first trip to the US was quite an adventure: I was 17, travelling together with my grandfather to visit his cousin in Connecticut. We didn't know who would wait for us at the airport (we hadn't seen him before) and my grandfather couldn't speak English at all...but it turned out to be a great summer vacation!

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, as I am simply interested in you and in the place you live it is enough for me if you tell me about yourself and your home. And of course I like to see some places "ordinary" tourists usually don't get to see.

As I studied tourism management I could probably give you some travel-related advice. And I think I'm not bad when it comes to graphic design ;-)

Countries I’ve Visited
