About Me
Hey there!
I'm an outgoing, adventurous, and spontaneous kind of girl. I just finished my college degree a few months ago and jumped straight into the real world. I'm fortunate to have a pretty enjoyable full time job that pays the bills, but I daydream about the great outdoors every moment I'm in my cubicle. Don't tell my boss, but I spend a lot of office time planning my next excursion.
As much as I love to plan my trips, I'm also very laid back. If you have every moment of your trip planned out, you will definitely miss out on some of the best things a new place has to offer you. I love to go with the flow and see where each new day takes me.
Friends tell me I'm witty and maybe a tad sarcastic at times. I'd like to think they're right when they say I'm funny, but they're all sarcastic too so who knows.
In everything I do, I strive to be genuine and optimistic.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm hoping to meet some camping, backpacking, and hiking buddies in Southern Utah for an upcoming trip! I'd love a place to stay since I'm on a budget and would love to meet friendly faces!
I'm also open to new hiking friends around the NC/TN/VA area. I live in the Piedmont, but escape to the mountains whenever I can.

Music, Movies, and Books
I spend entirely too much time finding new folk and indie bands on Spotify...
I love independent films as well, but I will never turn down a Star Wars marathon.
Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit can't be beat for reading out in the woods.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I can't really think of anything that stands out, but I'm pretty sure that this upcoming trip to Utah and my hike up Angels Landing is going to be the most amazing thing I've ever done. (YouTube it!)
Teach, Learn, Share
I could probably teach you how to draw some cartoon animals or bake an awesome macaroni and cheese. I used to give violin lessons so I can do that, but BYOV. I'd also be happy to help out with dishes or some other household chores, but please don't make me vacuum. I hate vacuuming. ;p
If you're into off the grid living, tiny houses, or organic farming, I'd love to learn more. If you love your local craft breweries, let's go grab a few on me and discuss their flavor profiles. (Yes, I'm an aspiring beer snob.) Also, if you can teach me perfect squat form or a new yoga position, that'd be awesome!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Enthusiasm, long and meaningful chats, help around the house, and plenty of smiles!
