To turn my Life Survival Skills into a more socially acceptable activity.
I'm a writer. I have a day job, but it's not exactly what I'd like to do with the rest of my life. I've spent two decades in a city where no one sees the sun for four months out of the year and people are afraid to look at each other on the street. Three weeks spent in Colorado recently brought all of this to light with stunning clarity.
Now I just have to figure out where I would rather be.
I'm stuck with me forever. I might as well like what we're doing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Crashing on my sister's couch every Christmas Eve so I can keep an eye out for Santa for my nieces.
Reading, writing, staring at trees for prolonged periods of time, drinking coffee, taking photos of things no one else is ever interested in, horseback riding when I can afford it, drinking coffee, car dancing, singing show tunes, watching anime, MMORPGs, drinking coffee, snuggling animals that don't want to eat me, hanging around with hardcore gamers and IT people that talk about things I'll never understand, drinking coffee, enjoying nature, cult classics, coloring, word searches, oh, and did I mention drinking coffee?
